Our award winning accommodation is situated in Stirling, Adelaide Hills and there are 3 uniquely styled villas to choose from.

If Balinese is your thing then the Bali Villa will more than impress with its feature stone bath with fountain wall spout, a giant, cushion filled, antique timber day bed, outdoor yoga and meditation space and tranquil, ambient lit Bali Hut. Indoors your senses will be awakened by the warm reds and golds of Bali décor, the gentle whispering ceiling fan and the architectural ambience and warmth of natural wood and soft designer lighting. Our open plan Bali villa bathroom has garden views, natural stone finishes with the luxury of under floor heating, a stunning Balinese stone bath and separate walk in rain shower. Step out through the bedroom’s French doors to your own private garden or glide open the 3 metre, floor to ceiling glass doors to your private walled sunny courtyard complete with Bali hut and fire pit.

Like all our villas, the Bali villa has a top of the range Jag Kitchen, underfloor heating and remote control block out blinds. Bali villa has 1 King Bed for 2 people max occupancy. Set behind the Sticky Rice Cooking School at 96 Old Mt Barker Rd it is a short 15 min walk to Stirling village centre.

Perfect for long self-catering stays, or book for just one night.

Packages are available if staying while you attend the Sticky Rice Cooking School. If staying the weekend why not participate in one of the classes, if staying mid-week, why not engage one of our personal Chefs to cook you a romantic dinner or deliver a private cooking class in your villa.

Ultimate weekend for engagement proposal! After coming across the Sticky Rice Villas and cooking classes on google I decided it would be the perfect location to propose to my partner who loves travel and cooking. I booked the Bali Villa and it felt just like we were in a 5 star Villa in Bali, it was simply stunning and very well equipped! It even surpassed the photos on their websites! Once you’re in the Villa you also can’t tell that there are any other Villa’s around, you feel completely secluded. We then did the Thai Feast cooking class and we learned to cook 4 amazing dishes. The class is very social as we worked in groups of 4 to prepare the dishes. We then had a big group dinner with the other class attendees, and there was more food and wine than we could all finish. While this was going on, the team at Sticky Rice had snuck into my room (as I requested) to set up rose petals in a “Will you marry me?” Quote on the bed, and when we got back to the room it was laid out even better than I imagined, they had even lit multiple candles to add to the atmosphere, it was just perfect! And she said yes of course! Thank you so much to the team at Sticky Rice, I couldn’t recommend them highly enough!
